MECHIEL
My love for cycling started at a young age. I grew up into a family of cycling, and thus my first time ever riding up Alpe d’Huez was at the age of 9 years old.
During my teen years I, like so many others, let go of my cycling passion for a while. And after 10 years or so in the gym, I started cycling again and have never been more in love with life on the bike than I am at this point in my life. I even pin a number on my back again occasionally!
ESMÉ
I did not grow up in cycling, although I did do a lot of sports throughout my life. After years of gymnastics, dancing and running, I first got to try cycling in 2024 after I met Mechiel.
I fell in love with this instantly. The feeling of freedom while getting fitter and fitter is what lead me to explore the world in a way I never thought possible, as I now conquer mountain passes in the Alps and Pyrenees.
